A Canal special style pencil popper (with flat bottom) that has good action from the shore or a boat.
Weighs 2.6 oz and casts a good distance.
Has spook-like action in retrieval with long sweeps. Will dance if retrieved erratically.
Named during the 2011 season after the first cast at the Cape Cod Canal after it smashed into the rocks, and its tip broke off. As the season wore on, multiple bites from blues and striped bass gave the lure the look of a Seahaag. This was my go-to plug for the rest of the 2011 season.
